If you see a writeup which reads "police scanner for sale" what is the first thought that goes through your mind? Do you think, "gee, that sounds great, but won't the cops be upset when they find I'm using this?" It ends up, in several areas police scanners are completely legitimate tools. After all, digital scanners police handled to find people are fair game, so why not?

So the next time you're at a radio scanners sale, consider getting a police scanner for yourself. That way you and the police could have a trouble-free nighttime. Speeding laws are sadly a bigger cause of accidents than people think. Studies have shown that low speed limits drive genuine reckless drivers into side neighborhoods, where there is often less visibility and more ambler traffic, hence more likelihood for an accident.
